ORGANOLEPTIC PROFILE

Softrosé coloured wine with fuchsia reflections. Fresh and fruity captivating fragrances on the nose that remind of strawberry and pansy, but also of refined and persistent tropical fruits. The present alcoholic note is softened by a good mineral-based freshness which gives our rosé wine a good flavor and olfactory persistence. Thanks to its versatility this wine can be paired with cheese-based starter sand cold cuts.It goes well with pasta main courses,perhaps seasoned with vegetables, or white-meat second courses or fish such as prawnsors wordfish. To be served at the temperature of 12 °C.

ZAFARÀNA ROSATO ORGANIC

Appellation: IGT Terre Siciliane Nero D’Avola rosé wine

Place of production: District of Zafaràna – Trapani

Grapes: 100% organically cultivated Nero D’Avola

Yield per hectare: Approximately 60quintalsonmediumtextured soil at 350 meters above sea level

Harvest period: Hand-picked in the last week of August, using bins of 200 kg.

Winemaking: After 12 hours in the refrigerating room, the grapes are softly pressed in a reducing environment and left to ferment at a low temperature for about 15 days. The aging occursin steel tanks on the fine leesfor about 7 months; after the bottling an additional month’s rest inside the bottle is required to guarantee a specific organoleptic maturity.
