VINE VARIETY: 100% Pinot Noir.
AREA OF ORIGIN: Western Sicily in the area of Alcamo, Valdibella Estate.
CLASSIFICATION: IGP Terre Siciliane (Protected Geographical Indication – Sicilian Territory).
SOIL: Medium-textured and fertile soil, with lots of nutrients and organic matter.
ALTITUDE: 250-300 metres above sea level.
VINEYARD: Counter-espalier training with Guyot pruning system.
CLIMATE: Mild and rainy winter, hot and windy summer.
GRAPE HARVEST: Early September. Manual harvesting.
VINIFICATION: Destemming and maceration for 18 days with periodic movement inside the tanks. Aging, fining and conservation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES: Ruby red colour of medium structure. Vivid, harmonic and elegant scents that remind of mixed berries.
FOOD PAIRING: Pairs well with red meat, bushmeat and hard cheese.
TEMPERATURE: Serve at 18° C.
